This half-day workshop will allow students and early professionals to learn about career opportunities in the wildlife field. Professionals from various agencies, organizations, and companies will discuss their day-to-day job activities, how their career differs from other wildlife careers, and how to be competitive for entry-level positions in their field. The workshop will include a Q&A to allow participants to ask follow-up questions.

Our hope is that participants will come away with a better understanding of the career opportunities available to them and how to market themselves to potential employers. The roundtable will be followed by our annual student/early careerprofessional mixer.

Roundtable: Monday, February 10th from 13:00 – 17:00 at the Atwood Center Rasmuson Hall, Alaska Pacific University

Mixer: Monday, February 10th from 18:00 – 20:00 at the Barrel Room East, 49th State Brewing Company. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
